Policies
ATTENDANCE:
Attendance at practices as well as games is expected from all players and coaches.
We understand that emergencies or conflict happen, please keep coaches/admin informed if you are going to be late or miss a practice as soon as you are aware. Repeated unexcused absences may affect playing time.
TIMELINESS:
Players and coaches are expected to arrive early enough to prepare for practices and games, this means:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before practice starts
- Arrive at least 1 hour prior to game start time
SPORTSMANSHIP:
It is expected that each player will win and lose with good sportsmanship and class. We will not tolerate aggressive or hostile confrontations between any coach, athlete, parent, spectator, or referee.
Disrespectful behavior may result in possible dismissal from the team.
BULLYING:
Dragon Slayers Football has zero tolerance for bullying, discrimination, or harassment of any kind. All players, coaches, and parents are expected to treat one another with kindness and respect - both on and off the field.
Violations will be taken very seriously.
CLEANLINESS:
We take pride in our team and our facilities.
It is expected that all players, coaches, and spectators leave all fields and bleachers clean. You are expected to pick up after yourself and maintain a clean environement.
PLAYING TIME:
Playing time is earned - not guaranteed. It is based on attendance, effort, attitude, performance in practices, and team needs during games. Our goal is to develop every player, while also remaining a very competitive team. Not all players will receive equal playing time, especially in close games, but every player will have opportunities to grow and contribute throughout the season.
QUESTIONS & CONCERNS ABOUT COACHING DECISIONS:
We welcome respectful communication.
If you have concerns about playing time, coaching decisions, or anything, please follow the 24-hour rule: wait 24 hours after a game or incident before bringing up emotionally charged concerns.
Reach out to schedule a time to speak privately with a coach or admin. Please avoid discussing issues during or immediately after games or practices.

Your words, actions, and social media presence should reflect the values of respect, integrity, and sportsmanship.
